| 1 | sinus infection/cyst in sinus | After the second 500 mm pill, my left knee, which has been problematic,(torn meniscus) "blew up" while I was at the mall doing light shopping. It got swollen, stiff, etc. and I could hardly walk to my car. Went on line as soon as I got home, and bingo!.... joint problems just like mine being described by many people. I'll not take another one, and plan to ask my MD for something different. Even if another drug is less effective for this sinus problem, I would not risk permanent damage to my joints, tendons, or anything else, to take this drug. Thank goodness I only took 2. Hope this swollen knee goes away in time for my much needed, long awaited vacation in 4 days! | F | 61 | 2 days | 9/7/2009 | 2 | Epididymitis | I took one dose, ONE, of levaquin 750 on friday and since then i have had bloating, depression, loss of appetite, and anxiety | I dont understand how after ONE dose i am still experiencing some bloating, loss of appetite, and every once and a while anxiety. I cant call the doctors office because the guy doesnt work on sundays and he is off tomorrow because of labor day. I know i sound kinda stupid because these symptoms seem to be the norm but i dont know if i am suppose to continue experiencing them after not taking the med for like 3 days. Ever since I took one 500 mg dose of Levaquin on 6/28/09, my life has not been the same. ONE DOSE! I used to be very active, working out at my gym, practicing yoga, participating in drum corps, teaching colorguard, etc. I am finally feeling better and am very thankful, but I am still not 100% and I doubt I ever will be. To all that are suffering. Please take Magnesium supplements, 500mg+ once a day. I've been taking 500mg Magnesium, 100mg Vitamin-B6, 100mg Niacin daily and doing acupuncture and taking some chinese herbs. I truly believe these are the things that are saving me right now. Don't give up, take your health in to your own hands and think/meditate on getting better and repairing the damage that this drug has done to your body.
