1  systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) Constant vomiting, diarrhea, severe esophagitis, hiatal hernia, fatigue, brain fog, malnutrition and dehydration, cardiac issues. Bone and muscle loss. Etc. Etc. This medication nearly killed me. After nearly a year of constant pain vomiting diarrhea and suffering I finally stopped eating and drinking all together and ended up in the hospital three times. I now have eight more doctors, none of whom are willing to seriously discuss the horrible side effects of this medication. Their response is to try to get me to take other drugs that are just as scary and dangerous. F 64 2 years

1  Lupus Heart pounding, breathless, face tingling beneath surface of skin, nicety, fatique, feeling like having a seltzer tablet fizzing in stomach! Began treatment 20mg prednisone which relieved me of chronic fibromyalgia symptoms that I have had for 15 years(newly diagnosed with lupus).such as joint stiffness and pain, numbness of extremities, and restored the energy I have missed for these many years. I understand that one cannot continue on prednisone fir a long period. This week I was prescribed 500mg 2 x a day and reduced prednisone to 15mg a day. Well, 1000mg created adverse effects! Called doctor and reduced to 500mg. Very unhappy with side effects as listed above. Since it takes. 6-12 weeks to benefit from Cellcept, I must decide if it is worth the side effects? F 77 6 days

3  SLE Lately extreme hair loss, tiredness I also have cervical distonia and have had piercing feelings in legs dont know if this is a side effect of the cellcept or the distonia spreading to other parts of the body. My legs jumped in bed this morning. Don't know if this could be the cellcept making my distonia worse. Has anyone else have trouble with uncontrollable movements of muscles? I don't trust this drug at all! F 64 1 years

4  severe COPD headaches, dizzy spells, constipation, stomach issues (like trapped gas) and a little nausea, high anxiety, achy body. started cellcept in July as an alternative to prednisone. It was a gradual cellcept increase and prednisone decrease. Today I am prednisone free, but I am experiencing several side effects that i HOPE are temporary. I am tolerating it for now because I HAVE seen an improvement in my lung function tests. July i was at 34% and now at 41%. I have also lost weight but unfortunately its not a healthy weight loss. Stomach issue and constipation make it hard to enjoy your meals. F 53 4 months
